Learn social media from the best, for free, in your PJs

Working part-time for a nonprofit while studying this year means I’ve had no budget to learn social media, so I’m rather excited by Tuesday’s Connect via Hootsuite virtual conference. It’s totally free. And being virtual means no travel or accommodation costs. No pulling out your suit to impress, pants are optional.

Learn-Social-MediaWe know also that it’s from Hootsuite so it’ll be useful*. There are seven presentations from some of the best in social media. Jenni Hogan is my personal favorite and that has nothing to do with her being an Australian living in Seattle. She’s a very smart lady. Check out her work with TagBoard. There are also people from Marketo and Brandwatch. Oh, and a couple from Hootsuite, but I doubt they’re convenient filler. Hootsuite looks for the story in all their activities to help us learn social media from them (and their mistakes).

The full agenda is below, but register now to get all the convenient reminder emails and links to join in. Even if you, like me, have an immovable meeting on Tuesday, links to the videos will be emailed to all registered attendees 24 hours after the conference.
